After undertaking a feasibility study and considering all of their options Kate and Patrick opted for a garage conversion and complete internal & external renovation.  They optimised the internal space within their home by removing a large chimney breast that was located in the centre of the house.  The new space provided room for a bigger kitchen and bespoke, built in furniture in the living room.  On the first floor the extra space allowed for a bigger bathroom with a freestanding bath & separate shower as well as a spacious landing in the hallway at the top of the stairs.  In addition, the garage conversion enabled them to create a much desired utility room as well as space for a second home office.  They also made a decision to replace the windows at the front of the house with bigger sizes bringing much more natural light into their home.
